Free video watermark remover
Remove a small, stationary visible watermark from a video for free with Clear Photo Video. Select the logo or text, apply repair or blur throughout the short clip, then play and download the result. Your video is processed on your device without an upload or account.
Open the video editorHow to remove a watermark from a video for free
- Open a short clip. Open the video editor above, select “Choose a video,” and choose an MP4, WebM, or MOV file your browser can decode. You can also switch to the Video tab from the homepage. The editor accepts clips up to two minutes and 250 MB.
- Check where the mark appears. Play or scrub the video. Pause on a clear frame, then drag a box around the full watermark, including its outline or shadow.
- Choose repair or blur. Select “Repair with nearby pixels” for small marks over simple backgrounds. Choose “Soften with blur” to soften the selected area when a reconstructed patch would be distracting.
- Export, review, and download. Select “Clean up video.” Keep the tab open and the device awake until the export finishes. Play the result and check different moments, then select “Download MP4” or “Download WebM,” depending on your browser. The download is free.
A fixed selection works best for a fixed watermark
The selected box stays in the same position throughout the clip. This is useful for a logo anchored to a corner. It does not track a moving mark, detect logos automatically, or follow an object as it crosses the frame.
Before exporting, check the beginning, middle, and end. A mark that changes location, size, or visibility can need a different editing workflow. Selecting a very large box to cover every possible position also replaces more of the scene, which can make the repair noticeable.
Keep each selection close to the visible mark, with a little clean background around its edges. Several separate marks can use separate boxes. If a person or another detailed object moves behind the watermark, review that moment carefully: nearby pixels may not provide enough information for a convincing repair.
Understand the result and export format
Repair is traditional pixel reconstruction applied to each frame. It blends information from around the selection; it does not use a machine learning model or recover the exact scene hidden by an opaque mark. Smooth walls and sky usually offer better source material than faces, text, or repeating patterns.
Video export records the processed frames through your browser. The available download is MP4 where supported, otherwise WebM. Audio is preserved where browser support allows. The clip is re-encoded, so its compression, size, or resolution can differ from the original.
Export takes roughly the clip's playback time and may take longer on a busy device. Keep the browser visible, avoid switching apps on a phone, and use Cancel export if you need to stop. Try a shorter sample first when checking a new device. On touch devices, video export is limited to a 1280-pixel long edge to keep memory use manageable.
Video cleanup questions
Is the tool free, and where is my clip processed?
The video watermark remover is free and does not require an account. Your selected clip is processed locally in your browser without a media upload. Download a result you want to keep before closing the session.
Can I remove a watermark from an AI-generated video?
If an AI tool added a visible logo or text to a clip you own or have permission to edit, you can manually select it in the free video editor. The mark needs to stay in one position; there is no automatic brand detection or tracking. Results depend on the background, watermark, and device. Clear Photo Video does not remove invisible provenance signals.
Why will my video not open or export?
A filename alone does not determine codec support. Try a short H.264 MP4 in an updated browser. The editor reports unsupported export capabilities; another browser or a compatible source file may be needed.
Basic visits and cleanup outcomes are counted; your media stays on your device. Usage and privacy details.
